PPE violations on site were only caught on the daily inspection round. The hours between the round and the violation were the riskiest window on record.
APPROACH
We added helmet and vest detection to the existing site cameras. Violations are classified by zone and routed straight to the supervisor's phone.
RESULTS
Time from violation to alert dropped from hours to 4 seconds.
The daily round dependency is gone; violation density is reported by zone.
Every detection is logged with a confidence score and footage.
